Overview

ITility seeks a talented Simulation Analyst (Senior) to support our contract with the United States Air Force in Europe (USAFE). This role will sit onsite at Ramstein, AFB, Germany. The Contractor shall perform mission analysis using the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM).

 

This position is open to pipeline future candidates for a potential vacancy.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Analyzes and designs military simulations. Performs one or more of the following or related activities:

  1. Analyzes unit training requirements and designs computer simulation exercises to accomplish them.
  2. Analyzes unit performance during computer simulation exercises.
  3. Prepares exercise scenarios, war plans, and orders to support exercises.
  4. Tests and evaluates computer simulation databases and ensures that simulations are accurately portraying military operations.

Specific tasks include but are not limited to the following:

  • Assists in production of intelligence products to support overall intelligence objectives 
  • Maintains databases and collates information for use in all-source intelligence products and analysis  
  • Performs intelligence evaluations and assessments 
  • Authors and composes all-source intelligence reports & collection requirements 
  • Creates and presents intelligence briefings.
  • Disseminates intelligence information and products.
  • Administers a Mission Partner feedback process to ensures intelligence requirement satisfaction.
  • Simulates enemy forces activity via “white cell” inputs during exercise conditions.
  • Analyzes military mission requirements in the context of developing computerized simulation exercises and training events.
  • Provides advice and recommendations on planning, developing, staffing, configuring, testing, conducting, and documenting computer simulation exercises.
  • Works to simulate wartime intelligence stresses and interactions as accurately as possible to maximize training value and performance.
  • Tests and evaluates computer simulation databases.
  • Oversees computer simulation operations to ensure computer and communications systems are accurately portraying military operations.

Qualifications

Required Qualification:

  • Advanced Degree (MA/MS) and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 years of which must be in the DoD.  
    • OR, BA/BS degree, and 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 years of which must be in the DoD.
  • Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI. 
  • Advanced knowledge of simulation design.
  • Prior experience in developing integrated warfare and air campaign scenarios.
  • Experience producing intelligence products. 
  • Experience maintaining databases of information for intelligence products and analysis. 
  • Prior experience planning, developing, staffing, configuring, testing, conducting, and documenting computer simulation exercises.

Skills and Knowledge: 

  • Possesses the advanced knowledge, experience, and ability within Simulation Design.
  • Possesses the ability to perform tasks and oversee the efforts of junior and mid-level personnel within the technical/professional discipline.
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge simulations and possesses a comprehensive understanding and ability to apply associated standards, procedures, and practices.

Preferred Experience: 

  • Prior experience with STORM and/or AFSIM.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work is typically performed in an office setting.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear and see.
  • Must have the ability to lift 15-25 pounds.
