Overview

ITility is seeking an experienced Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Specialist to manage and maintain the client Human Resources Information System (HRIS), while supporting the team and mission.  This individual will be a member of a cross-functional team.  This position is contingent upon contract award.

 

This position will sit onsite at the Client location in Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area.

Responsibilities

Duties /Responsibilities:

  • Act as workforce and HRIS subject matter expert and maintains HR data systems and other related platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Workforce Management and HRIS Team Lead, Human Resources (HR) Manager and host client human capital management stakeholders to optimize and integrate workforce and HR data system best practices in support of organizational goals.
  • Build strong and collaborative relationships with HR system, IT peers and IC Leaders and stakeholders to help drive organizational workforce and HR data system goals.
  • Ensure HR information and data is accurate, current and readily accessible for client consumption.
  • Audit data across integrated HR systems to guarantee integrity, congruency, completeness, functionality and accuracy.
  • Support internal and external audits, compliance reviews and documentation efforts.
  • Perform regular trouble shooting and testing of HR systems and provide relevant and timely feedback (may serve as a point of contact for system updates or troubleshooting).
  • Build and maintain standard and custom reports to meet ongoing and emergent business needs.
  • Program custom functions such as automated queries, filters, macros and reports.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure HR systems data supports workforce needs.
  • Troubleshoot and/or reports issues reported by end users.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to support decision-making, and reporting needs.
  • Support data analysis and reporting by assisting with ad-hoc report design and preparation for HR and other Executive leadership.
  • Ensure system compliance with legislative and regulatory data security and privacy requirements.
  • May assist with managing and implementing system updates from regular software releases, to ensure minimal disruption.
  • Monitor HR systems for system performance and identify processes that may need improvement.
  • Understand stakeholders’ needs to develop more efficient processes within the HR systems to promote more efficient and effective better collaboration
  • Build strong partnerships across HR and other departments.
  • Develop, update and maintain HRIS user guides, training and procedural documentation for analytics tools and facilitate client learning opportunities to bolster workforce HR data system knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Provide day-to-day support as needed. Assist with assigned Ad Hoc tasks/projects.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Active Top Secret SCI Clearance with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
  • Experience supporting the IC in an HR role.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and carry out multiple assignments concurrently.
  • Ability to act with integrity and professionalism, collaborate effectively and maintain confidentiality.
  • Possess excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, conflict resolution and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to build relationships and trust with team members and stakeholders.
  • Proficient skills in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Strong data management skills, including reporting, dashboards and data analytics.
  • Experience with SQL queries/relational databases, Tableau/Power BI are a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience.
  • 3+ years HRIS administration experience.
  • Knowledge of HR policies and procedures, labor laws and regulations to ensure the HRIS and other platforms meet organizational needs and goals.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work is performed in an office setting.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear and see.
  • Must have the ability to lift 15-25 pounds.
