ITility is seeking an experienced, results-oriented Human Resources Generalist to provide HR support services to facilitate IC workforce management.  This individual will be a member of a cross-functional team.  This position is contingent upon contract award.

 

This position will sit onsite at the Client location in Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area.

Responsibilities

Duties /Responsibilities:

  • Act as HR & Workforce Management Generalist with the ability to support and assist with a wide variety of critical Human Capital (HR & Workforce Management) integration functions and service delivery.
  • Collaborate with HR Management Team Lead, HR Manager and host client human capital management partners to optimize and integrate HR programs, processes and compliance best practices in support of client organizational goals.
  • Build strong and collaborative relationships with HR peers and client partners to help drive organizational Human Capital goals.
  • Maintain knowledge and compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA), Employment Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA) and other state, local and federal HR employment policy, guidelines and legislation.
  • Support and assist with a variety of hiring processes and HR operations.
  • Support and assist with recruitment efforts and activities including ensuring that recruitment efforts align with workforce needs.
  • Support and assist with employee in-processing operations to include onboarding, coordination and communication with appropriate stakeholders, arrival preparation and coordination , security clearance coordination and validation, updating HR data systems, establishing Entry on Duty (EOD) dates for new employees, I-9 and other required processes. Serve as primary HR point of contact for employees and resolve general employee questions as part of the HR team, working with the appropriate team members to route and resolve more complex employee questions.
  • Serve as a primary resource for general questions and inquiries, policies, and procedures
  • Assist with employee data change requests
  • Conduct and lead Orientation for newly hired employees.
  • Support employee recognition initiatives to foster engagement and retention.
  • Facilitate the offboarding process, including exit interviews, termination paperwork, facilitating equipment returns, summarize trends, and provide data to stakeholders.
  • Provide day-to-day support as needed. Assist with assigned Ad Hoc tasks/projects.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Active Top Secret SCI Clearance Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
  • Experience supporting the Intelligence Community in a Human Resources role.
  • Possess general knowledge, skill and ability with at least two of the following HR operational functions to include, but not limited to Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, HR Strategy and Policy, Performance Management, Awards & Recognition, Equal Opportunity and Treatment, Employee-Management Relations, Employee Classification, Employee Benefits and Compensation, Security Clearance processing, Onboarding and Offboarding, Military Manpower and Personnel Management.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and follow through on tasks.
  • Ability to manage and execute multiple assignments concurrently.
  • Ability to act with integrity and professionalism and maintain confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment related laws and regulations.
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, conflict resolution and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to build relationships and trust with team members and stakeholders.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to the Intelligence Community as part of Team ITility

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience of human resources management required.
  • 10+ years of experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR or other HR certification a plus.

 

Physical Requirements:

 

  • Work is performed in an office setting.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear and see.
  • Must have the ability to lift 15-25 pounds.
