Overview

ITility is seeking an experienced, performance driven Resource Support Specialist III to provide financial and program management support services to the Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Domestic Nuclear Detection Office and Office of Health Affairs (CWMD/DNDO & CWMD/OHA). This position is currently located in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

  • Implement government policies and procedures accounting principles, and multi-tiered system application standards.
  • Post, balance, monitor, and reconcile internal department/division monthly ledgers, budgets, and financial reporting system report.
  • Prepare drafts of budget planning documents.
  • Prepare milestone status reports and presentations for colleagues, subordinates, and end user representatives. 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in financial management.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Experience with tracking past, current, and future expenditures at varying levels (office, program, performer); and providing support to annual budget submissions.
  • Experience with implementing government policies and procedures accounting principles, and multi-tiered system application standards; posting, balancing, monitoring, and reconciling internal department/division monthly ledgers, budgets, and financial reporting system reports; preparing drafts of budget planning documents; and preparing milestone status reports and presentations for colleagues, subordinates, and end user representatives.
  • Superior skills with Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).

Physical Requirements:

  • Work is typically performed in an office setting.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear and see.
  • Must have the ability to lift 15-25 pounds.
