Overview

Title: Strategic Growth Manager - DLA

 

If you have strong capture and business growth skills, are an independent worker with a passion for customer engagement, and have analytical skills with great follow through, then consider this Strategic Growth Manager position with ITility, LLC.  We are seeking an experienced performance driven manager for our DLA JETS 2.0 Portfolio.  This position manages our DLA Account for IT and Logistic business opportunities.  Flexible and hybrid work schedule from our Chantilly, VA HQ office, DLA HQ, Ft. Belvoir VA, and occasional travel to client site locations.  The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in federal contracting, particularly with DLA IT initiatives, a proven track record of ID/IQ contract management, and executing funded task orders.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include:

  • Create a strategic growth strategy and pipeline for the DLA JETS 2.0 IDIQ opportunities
  • Foster strong DLA relationships, continuous communications, virtual and in person to continuously improve customer intimacy.
  • Regularly meet with DLA program sponsors and stakeholders to understand projected needs and strategic initiatives while driving our delivery to align with those initiatives.
  • Manage all aspects of DLA Account strategic planning and new business development to create a DLA focused multi-year pipeline of opportunities.
  • Identify opportunity leads and call plans for new business opportunities that support the DLA Account Plan.
  • Lead identification, Qualification, and Capture on select DLA opportunities leading formal Gate Reviews that demonstrate a maturing of the pWin as an opportunity advance..
  • Lead early development of win strategies during the Assessment Phase, prior to assignment of a Capture Manager.
  • Manage the coordination of teaming activities for both prime and subcontract opportunities.

Account Management:

  • Manage the execution and performance of the DLA JETS 2.0 IDIQ contract.
  • Establish and work to Account metrics to assess performance, client satisfaction, and to ensure objectives are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Oversee and manage Account budgets, financial projections, P&L, ensure responsible coverage of Account billable personnel, and adherence to corporate financial guidelines.
  • Facilitate implementation of the ITility Service Delivery Methodology throughout each contract and task order.

Service Delivery:

  • Deep dive to know customer pain points.  
    • Be hyper-focused on customer engagement and hyper-critical of program quality. 
  • Build trust and relationships through exceptional communications and delivery.   
    • Demonstrated history of building strong customer relationships – becoming a trusted mission partner. 
  • Drive the Service Delivery Methodology   

Business Development & Growth:

  • Identify Long Term Growth Goals   
    • Have a successful record of identifying and managing new growth opportunities within a Federal portfolio of contracts. 
    • Bring a deep familiarity of prior experience participating in business development, capture activities, and proposal/solutions development.
    • Develop new business opportunities through long term strategic planning, capture planning, and development of proposals and business plans. 
  • Identify and Shape Opportunities   
    • Lead growth of assigned portfolio of contracts and participate in ITility planning and enhancement activities.    
  • Build Key Customer Relationships   
    • Influence customer decisions through collaboration, leadership, and a customer-focused approach. 
    • Cultivating customer relationships and intimacy to develop further opportunities within the customer community. 
  • Leverage Business Intelligence
    • Understand competitive landscape coupled with program strengths and weaknesses to create enduring strategic partnerships

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelors degree with a preference for Masters degree
  • 10+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Capture Management, or Program Management.
  • 5+ years of managing DoD, preferably DLA IDIQ/GWAC contracts and task orders.
  • Working knowledge in at least one IT discipline such as Cloud Services, Communications, Data Analytics, Networking, or Software Development.
  • Secret Clearance required: Eligible for Top Secret clearance.
    • US Citizenship required to be considered.

Physical Requirements: 

  • This position may require travel to other contract duty locations, and selected individual must be willing to travel to the DLA offices and other locations as needed. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
