Overview

Seeking top talent to join our growing ITility USAFE team. As our Campaign Analyst the qualified candidate will conduct researches and analyzes, and performs one or more of the following or related activities;  Applies subject matter expertise and operational experience to concept of operations and mission scenario development; Assists in development of integrated warfare and air campaign scenarios; and assists with functional capability analyses.

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Determines appropriate method to support required study and analyses
  • Provides assistance with study plan development, methodology, model enhancements, data configuration control, and research and data collection to support studies
  • Develops, modifies, debugs, and maintains model databases to support data transfer and data calibration to/from HAF/A9 and Joint Staff modeling tools, as required
  • Develops and administers repository of supporting model databases
  • Analyzes other mission and campaign-level Air Force toolkit models to ensure relevant data are in STORM compatible format; if not, designs scripts to translate/adapt data for use in STORM
  • Provides operations system support to Government-required studies using STORM for pre-production, production and post-production model runs that accurately portray a given scenario, as well as post-processing
  • Modifies source code, scripts and databases to complete studies; limited to eliminating bugs and errors and modifying existing functionality to support ongoing studies and analyses.
  • Post process model output data using existing model functionality, data reduction programs, scripts, database queries, and analyses tools
  • Provides output reports and/or briefings to address study/analyses findings provided by the Government
  • Maintains and operates the Linux and Windows 10 STORM PowerPC systems, to include: installing individualized STORM code updates and databases when available

Qualifications

Experience with the following skillset:

  • Analyzing plans, data, intelligence information, or systems.
  • Developing estimates and makes recommendations for deficiencies.
  • Integrating information from a variety of sources into various systems; ensures proper systems interface.
  • Collecting data for analysis. Develops products resulting from analysis.

Required Education/Experience:

  • Master's degree in a related field and 3 years of specialized experience; OR Bachelor's degree in a related field and 6 years of specialized experience; OR 10 years of specialized experience.  
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required.
