  • Overview


    The Network Services Manager shall be responsible for ARNG NCR DOIM IT services and support such as CAN and LAN operations. The Network Services Manager must ensure that all devices are securely configured and tested prior to installation on the LAN. Following installations the devices will be regularly updated with vendor patches, security patches, operating system/firmware upgrades, and new security configurations.


    • Design, maintain, update, and enhance the COOP capability
    • Maintain software release levels and patches
    • Maintain operational support
    • Facilitate COOP exercises
    • Monitor the VTC and troubleshoot issues during support to high profile events and/or priority personnel.
    • Coordinate with bridge provider to resolve external VTC issues.
    • Perform regular preventative maintenance, testing, patching, and upgrades to VTC equipment.
    • Support Service Design and Service Transition activities and processes, as necessary.
    • Electronically “push” software updates, security patches, vendor patches, etc., to devices.
    • Provide local touch labor services to include installation, troubleshooting, software updates, security updates, vendor patches, etc.
    • Maintain network availability IAW SLAs.


    • Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III or IAM Level III.
    • ITIL Foundation Level Certification.
    • A minimum of five years of experience managing network services for a similar network to that of the current ARNG NCR DOIM environment.

    Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Statistics, Business Administration, Systems Engineering, Computation Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Information Security and Assurance, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Telecommunications)
