  • Overview

    Develop pricing models for federal, state, local, and commercial proposals (primarily federal government) for all contract types (FFP, T&M, CPFF, IDIQ, etc).  Work with the proposal team and lead price strategy discussions for competitive and compliant staffing and pricing models. 


    • Review government requirements in RFP/RFQ and associated pricing attachments/ guidance to submit pricing/ staffing questions to the Government
    • Ensure our proposal and pricing are compliant with Government requirements
    • Develop pricing models for federal, state, local and commercial proposals; advise on staffing plans as appropriate
    • Develop multiple courses of action for price and risk tradeoff analysis
    • Perform salary research to support labor pricing
    • Perform financial modeling and develop "what if" scenarios
    • Document all price/staffing assumptions and develop draft project budgets
    • Develop all pricing documentation for proposals, to include pricing template and narrative, Section B tables
    • Advise program managers on how proposed personnel comply with requirements and how the proposed staffing impacts profitability
    • Interact with subcontractors, prime offerors, and other teammates on a proposal team as well as vendors and customers
    • Track proposal-related metrics for organizational reporting
    • Must be able to stick to timelines and work flexible hours to support proposal deadlines


    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/ university in finance, accounting or related field


    • Minimum five years of pricing or other financial related experience required


    • Experience with government contracting to include pricing, financial analysis, and contracts

    • Proficient in Excel, Powerpoint, Word

    • Experience with JAMIS or CostPoint a Plus
