    A3M is the MAJCOM division lead responsible for multi-role ISR policy and doctrine, maintenance of system operational configuration, development of CONOPs documents, coordination of operational plan taskings specific to the managed weapon systems, development of Air Force TTPs, proper execution of ISR procedures as established by authoritative guidance (e.g. CJCS Instruction 3250.01), and oversight of UTC management and Air Force Forces (AFFOR) readiness. A3M is also responsible to the command as the co-Program Element Monitor (PEM) for Program Management Doctrine and is therefore responsible for ensuring fiscal compliance with governing directives and proper execution of funding allocated to specified A3M programs. A3MH (High Altitude ISR Branch) is responsible for managing all aspects of current operations and operational doctrine involving Air Force high altitude multi-role ISR weapon systems and platforms.

     

    Provide daily network and security activities for A3M Division at Langley AFB, VA. Responsibilities will cover Collateral, SCI, and SAP activities within the Advanced RPA Branch. The FTE will report to the respective government organization network and security leads.

     

    Responsibilities

     

    Provide ACC/A3 and A3M support with regards to NIPRNET, SIPRNET, JWICS and SAP IA and IT policy, procedures, troubleshooting, and guidance IAW directives.

    Provide daily network oversight for NIPR, SIPR, JWICS, and SAP/SAR networks and systems.

    Perform duties as Client Systems Technician (CST) and ISSO for NIPRNET, SIPRNET, JWICS, and SAP/SAR networks located within the assigned Special Access Program Facility (SAPF).

    Assists Communication Security (COMSEC) Responsible Officer in maintaining COMSEC account in support of SAP requirements, to include Tactical Local Area Network Encryptor (TACLANE) and Secure Telephone Equipment (STE) equipment.

    Maintain IT Equipment Account as Custodian for all non-platform Information Technology (IT) systems within assigned SAPF.

    Ensure configuration management for security relevant IS software, hardware and firmware is maintained and documents.

    Ensure all IS are operated, maintained and disposed of IAW established security policies and practices, SAP directives and the System Security Plan.

    Draft and coordinate for local security policy, guidance and directions.

    Coordinate with HHQ on recommend changes to INFOSEC policy.

    Manage IS Self-Inspection Program.

    Conduct unit level JSIG inspections.

    Plan, prepare and present INFOSEC education and training quarterly to an estimated 30 A3M Division personnel.

    Assists Program Security officer (PSO) with monitoring the state of Systems security and make suggestions for improvements as necessary.

    Implement IA controls to ensure all resident information systems are safe and secure. Initiate incident reporting and post-incident status as necessary.

    Comply with the JSIG.

    Coordinate and standardize between HHQ for INFOSEC policy, network certifications, incident reporting and mitigation, local security policy and guidelines.

     

     

     

    Qualifications

    Bachelor degree in the Information Technology or Computer Security field with six years of experience or an Associate degree in Information Technology or Computer Science with eight years of experience.

    Possess a minimum of four years of experience in DoD SAP network administration and oversight.

     

    Possess a minimum of three years of experience in the application of ICD 705 and ICS 705. Demonstrate familiarity with the JSIG RISK Management Framework (RMF).

    Possess and maintain current DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II/IAM Level II certifications.

    Possess a minimum of six years of IA management experience.

    Must meet and maintain Top Secret SAP and SCI eligibility.

    Intermediate level proficiency in use and application of Microsoft Office products
