    ITility is looking for an experienced Interface and Integration Senior Specialist to support the DHS Office of the Chief Financial Officer, Financial Systems Modernization (FSM) Joint Program Management Office (JPMO) IT Management Branch. The JPMO is responsible for identifying, implementing, and overseeing modern and compliant financial management systems and business processes across the Department. The JPMO provides standardize business processes to align with mandates, provides change management and program management services. The JPMO also provides technology-based services and systems, in the most cost-effective manner, to facilitate the JPMO’s objective.

     

    The JPMO also leads and manages DHS business integration, financial management process standardization, functional requirements management, and the people side of change. The JPMO also prepares cost estimates and budget requests; manages available funds, program schedule, risks, and personnel; manages the execution of contracts and agreements; and ensures that project plans are implemented on schedule, within scope, and within budget.

     

    The role of FSM JPMO’s IT Management branch is to oversee all technical activities related to the migration of component level financial management systems. These activities are guided by several policy documents to include DHS’s Systems Engineering Life Cycle (SELC) and DHS Directive 102-01.

    Responsibilities

    • Facilitate and coordinate communication among various contractors and components and multiple stakeholders and partners, supporting the maintenance and development of various information technology interfaces and integration efforts.
    • Work on the Interoperability team which includes the DHS OCIO to ensure current interfaces and integration requirements are consistently up and running and working to make sure new interface builds, including testing initiatives, are implemented on time.
    • Assist the JPMO in its efforts to oversee the System Deployment Agent (SDA)’s efforts to support maintenance of existing interfaces for all of the components, Installation Support Agreements, contract staff and stakeholders.
    • Work closely with JPMO personnel and SDA staff in their efforts to test and troubleshoot interfaces, and system integrations.
    • Maintain documentation repository for interface and integration performance reports.
    • Create and manage a library of test cases consistent with organizational protocols and tools related to testing new implementations as well as regression testing of existing feature sets.
    • Maintain provider relationships by supporting connected components implementation teams, liaison, etc. to field questions and concerns.
    • Assist the JPMO in its oversight of the SDA’s efforts to update, upgrade and maintain interface and integration engine for optimal performance and functionality.
    • Provide knowledge and responsibility for designing, developing, testing and maintaining interfaces in financial, contracting, and IT environment, while leading the development process between vendors, and facilitate the interface needs of the outsourced client.
    • Attend staff meetings or other agency, Branch, contractor and component sponsored or mandated meetings as required.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Knowledge of RESTful web services and SOA (Servce oriented Architecture) Gateways
    • Twelve (12) years of IT experience
    • Four (4) years of Interface and Integration experience
    • Must have DHS Suitability
