The Senior Program Manager provides standardize business processes to align with mandates, provides change management and program management services.
The Senior Program Manager also provides technology-based services and systems, in the most cost-effective manner, to facilitate the Senior Program Manager’s objective. The JPMO also leads and manages DHS business integration, financial management process standardization, functional requirements management, and the people side of change. The Senior Program Manager also prepares cost estimates and budget requests; manages available funds, program schedule, risks, and personnel; manages the execution of contracts and agreements; and ensures that project plans are implemented on schedule, within scope, and within budget.
The Senior Program Manager shall provide leadership and management of all ITility personnel in support of two general business areas to include JPMO and the Travel Management Team.
The FSM program requires support for Overall Program Management/Leadership, Project and Financial Management, IT Management, and Business Transformation. These functions will be performed to facilitate the modernization of financial management systems at DHS and its components and directorates. The Travel Management team requires guidance and oversight support for the travel program. This includes guidance and oversight of system integration to the travel system and information technology planning and coordination.
