  • Overview

    ITility, LLC. is looking for a Technical Writer to create operating instructions, how-to manuals,instructions, and “frequently asked questions” pages to help technical support staff, consumers,and other users within the WHIT community. The Technical Writer must be able to understand complex information and communicate that to customers with diverse professional backgrounds.





    • Write, organize, and standardize supporting documents for IT solutions. This includes revising documents when necessary.
    • Work with computer hardware engineers, network and systems administrations specialist, computer support specialists, and software developers to manage the flow of information and documentation of all processes.
    • Apply knowledge of the solution, technical writer may serve as part of a team conducting usability studies to help improve the design of a solution that is not yet in production.
    • Technical writer may gather usability feedback on topics through personal observation, library and Internet research, and discussions with technical specialists.
    • Ability to deliver technical information in many formats to include an online knowledge base, other online tools, technical documents, in-person training when necessary, and the potential use of multidimensional images, text, sound, and video.



    • Bachelors Degree
    • Five years technical writing experience
    • Must have a Top Secret Security Clearance
