  • Overview

    The Environmental Protetection Agency (EPA) requires Information Technology (IT) support services for Region 2 encompassing NJ, NY, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Islands. The LAN support specialist will oversee all aspects of the Regional Office IT support services.

    (This position is contingent upon award)

     

    Responsibilities

    • The New York regional office on-site LAN support specialist shall be responsible for LAN services rendered to Region 2.
    • The LAN support specialist shall be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and coordinating this function and serve as the contact point for any questions.
    • The LAN support specialist shall work with the Project Manager to define work tasks and resolve problem areas.
    • The LAN support specialist shall schedule on-going work and specific work orders for miscellaneous tasks in an efficient, responsive manner, ascertaining EPA priorities designated by the Project Manager.
    • The LAN support specialist  shall make recommendations to the Project Manager on changes that would improve efficiency of the contract operation.

     

    Qualifications

     

    • Five (5)+ years of experience in a Microsoft Windows 2008/2016 Server networked in a virtual environment consisting of 10 or more servers
