  • Overview

    Provide overall management and execution support for the National Guard Joint Training, Exercise and Readiness Support task order to the N&NC J723. Support includes senior level management of deliverables, analysis and decision recommendations, and integration of J723 activities to deliver and sustain the following courses: JDOC, JCTC, DSC-OC, JSTC, JOCTC, and JRSOITC effectively and efficiently. Responsible for task order deliverables and personnel requirements as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).



    • Supports the customer in the development of student and instructor course material.
    • Provides event planning, execution and assessments of training.
    • Analyzes policy, integrates new and emerging training capabilities, coordinates actions with other organizations, and prepares updated course material.
    • Supervises contractor personnel in the conduct of analytic research and preparation of products in support of mission command training seminars, exercises, planning events and other client support as required.
    • Candidate must have strong written and verbal communications skills and the ability to interface with a wide variety of personnel. Ability to develop and present briefings.
    • Responsible for ensuring contract deliverables are submitted on time in compliance with the performance work statement and insuring products and exercise support products are doctrinally correct.
    • Design, develop and maintain new instructor-led training programs.
    • Redesign and maintain a portfolio of NGB JTF State existing training programs.
    • Facilitate and deliver various courses one to three days in length at TDY locations in any of 50 states and 4 US Territories.
    • Plan and coordinate learning events with internal and external partners.
    • Monitor survey results and participant responses for improvement opportunities.
    • Design and develop post-training materials for managers and attendees to facilitate improved application of learning.
    • Maintain the accreditation of the JQO credits for each course during curriculum updates


    • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in training, communications, organizational development, instructional design or related field.
    • Five (5) + year’s professional experience at an NGB unit or JTF State.
    • Three (3) + year’s of professional experience working in a training/learning/education role.
    • Three (3) + year’s of teaching or training military personnel Experience developing and conducting live instructor-led training for professional and leadership audiences.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum development, instructional-systems design methodologies, adult learning theory and application and eLearning concepts.
    • Experience using LMS and multimedia authoring tools to develop online learning modules.
    • Available for travel up to 40% of time
    • Active Secret Security Clearance


    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Certification(s) in training, instructional design or performance improvement a plus.
    • Proficiency using Microsoft Office and similar tools.
