  • Overview

    The Environmental Protetection Agency (EPA) requires Information Technology (IT) support services for Region 1 encompassing CT, ME, MA, NH, RI, and VT.  The Database Specialist will oversee all aspects of the Regional Office Database support services.

     (This position is contingent upon award)


    • The Boston regional office on-site Database Specialist shall be responsible for supervision of all database services rendered to Region 1.
    • The Database Specialist shall be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and coordinating this function and serve as the contact point for any questions.
    • The Database Specialist shall work with the Project Manager to define work tasks and resolve problem areas.
    • The Database Specialist shall schedule on-going work and specific work orders for miscellaneous tasks in an efficient, responsive manner, ascertaining EPA priorities designated by the Project Manager.
    • The Database Specialist shall make recommendations to the Project Manager on changes that would improve efficiency of the contract operation.



    • Must have direct experience with environmental databases
    • An understanding of the complexities of environmental compliance and environmental activities.
    • Ten (10)+ years industry experience.
