  • Overview

    The Environmental Protetection Agency (EPA) requires Information Technology (IT) support services for Region 1 encompassing CT, ME, MA, NH, RI, and VT.  The Senior GIS Analyst Programmer will oversee all aspects of the Regional Office GIS support services.

     (This position is contingent upon award)


    • The Boston regional office on-site Senior GIS Analyst Programmer shall be responsible for supervision of all GIS services rendered to Region 1.
    • The Senior GIS Analyst Programmer shall be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and coordinating this function and serve as the contact point for any questions related to GIS work.
    • The Senior GIS Analyst Programmer shall work with the Project Manager to define work tasks and resolve problem areas.
    • The Senior GIS Analyst Programmer shall schedule on-going work and specific work orders for miscellaneous tasks in an efficient, responsive manner, ascertaining EPA priorities designated by the Project Manager.
    • The Senior GIS Analyst Programmer shall review the performance of his/her employees, making recommendations to the Project Manager on changes that would improve efficiency of the contract operation.



    • Master Degree in GIS.
    • Proficiencies in Javascript API, ASP, Adobe Flex, Python, SQL, VB.NET, HTML, and CSS.
    • Five (5)+ years of industry experience.
    • Must provide innovative leadership and detailed requirements management tasks when developing customized application.
