  • Overview

    The Army/IT Program Manager will work in support of the US Army, located primarily at the Pentagon and at Ft. Belvoir, VA.


    The duties and responsibilities of the Program Manager may include but are not limited to the following:
    Procurement, design, administration, installation, management, web portal and content management, life-cycle replacement, Cybersecurity and governance, and battle simulation based support.


    The Program Manager will support the implementation of emerging IT and computing solutions support to keep pace with emerging capabilities to include, but not limited to information technology hardware, software, applications, audio-visual and voice over IP solutions, projectors, computers and servers.


    • The Program Manager shall oversee all activities which include but are not limited to tasks, deliverables, products, implementations, installations, operations, maintenance, system and network management, monitoring, cyber security, and data governance, while delivering and maintaining protections, confidentiality, integrity and availability of all systems within the G6 area of responsibility for end users.
    • The Program Manager shall on a weekly and monthly basis provide a technical status brief as requested by the Government and provide emergency, daily, weekly and monthly technical reports outlining their completed tasks, any outages that occurred over the period (daily, weekly, monthly) and trouble tickets and Information Technology Requests actioned.
    • The Program Manager shall adhere to established guidance for mission support, including but not limited to Federal, National, DoD, Army, TRADOC regulations, standards, policies, procedures, guidance, best business practices pertaining to information technology and computing.
    • The Program Manager shall assist the Government in defining system and network solutions and setting applicable targets for mission support.
    • The Program Manager shall assist the Government with forecasting of emerging technologies that can create efficiencies and provide recommendations related to system and network operations, including, but not limited to additions, reductions, technology refreshes, cyber security and information assurance tools and procedures, data governance, cost savings, life-cycle replacement, maintenance and improved efficiency to maintain an operational mission advantage.
    • The Program Manager shall ensure all measures taken during the performance of this contract comply with CIO/G6 standards and procedures, regulations, directives, or other DoD or Army guidance in order to maintain security and/or accountability compliance of the networks and systems.


    • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in a related field
    • At least eight (8) years of experience in managing program assignments, and multiple enterprise IT networks at various security classifications
    • Experience managing a large and diverse group of civilian employees in a military environment
    • Experience managing and maintaining cybersecurity and information assurance compliance requirements
    • Experience with IT Training and Certification, maintaining system compliance, ITIL, CMMI-5, and CCRI
    • Must have current PMP Certification or equivalent
    • Must be 8570 Compliant (Current Security + CE, A+ CE, or Network +CE certification)
    • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in a related field desired.
    • Prior Army Signal Officer experience a plus
