  • Overview

    To provide HQ USSOCOM with SMEs and services in support of the USSOCOM UEWTEP (The USSOCOM Enterprise Wide Training and Exercise Program).  The UEWTEP Execution Plan (PEP) outlines SOF related training, synergy, provides for prioritized requirements, training efficiencies, and supports fiduciary responsibilities by planning and executing a holistic approach across the Enterprise Wide construct.  The results are a more streamlined and standardized training and exercise approach across all US SOF, whether at the USSOCOM HQ level, at the USSOCOM Components, SOJTFs/Joint Special Operations Task Forces (JSOTFs), TSOCs, GCCs or other locations, as required.

    • Demonstrated expertise in planning, preparing, and teaching tactical and operational communication capabilities, employment, and system design
    • Experience participating in long-range, strategic planning efforts with other DOD and non-DOD Computer Network Operations participants
    • Knowledge of Information Operations (IO) concepts
    • Knowledge of physical and logical network devices and infrastructure to include hubs, switches, routers, firewalls, etc.
    • Experience in management of computer systems, knowledge management portal design and maintenance, secure and unsecure video teleconference system operations, email functionality, and collaborative automated systems (i.e. Lync, Skype, etc.)
    • Experience planning the integration of classified and unclassified systems and information with international and interagency partners at the tactical and operational level
    • Excellent presentation, communication, organization skills and proficiency in all source analytical support tools; proven skills in formal classroom delivery


    • Bachelor’s degree in related field (or minimum of 10 years equivalent combination of education and experience in the field considered) and 10 years tactical and operational communications experience
    • Minimum of 4 years relative SOF communications experience within the last 4 years
    • Minimum 10 years of SOF information operations experience 
    • Preferred recent 5 years of experience at the operational level in support of SOF operations
    • Minimum 6 years of experience and functional knowledge of Information Operations planning, processes, and joint doctrine
    • Minimum of 6 years of experience in providing intelligence analysis and all aspects of information gathering, research, threat assessments, client development, and predictive analysis
    • Minimum of 6 years of experience integrating classified and unclassified systems and information with international and interagency partners at the tactical and operational level
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a platform instructor in a Professional Military Education/training environment preferred
    • Must have an Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
