ITility’s provides internships each summer from May to August.  This program is designed to provide short-term work experiences that allow the students to observe and participate in professional work environments.  The student will be exposed to important learning opportunities that can help with making informed decisions and determine career paths.   


ITility’s internship program is beneficial because it provides the opportunity for the student to:

  • Get an inside view of an industry and organization/company
  • Gain valuable skills and knowledge
  • Make professional connections and enhance their network
  • Get experience in a field that may allow support in a career transition

Through the program, full-time college students will be able to apply for full-time summer internships within Operations, Business Development, Human Resources.  Internships are available for both undergraduate students and all positions are paid.  College students graduating in May 2018 are not eligible.

Internships last for six (6) weeks.


  • As an HR Intern, you will have the opportunity to form relationships with HR staff across the company.  Become a partner to the business and assist with the handling of HR related items.  You will have exposure to the different HR specialty functions such as:
  • Preparation of performance review forms.
  • Provides support with faxing, scanning and making copies
  • Prepares new employee files. Maintains active and terminated employee files by filing, making folders, labels, etc.
  • Prepare newsletter HR articles
  • Assist with employee benefit enrollment
  • Scheduling and overseeing investigator meetings
  • Conduct new hire orientation sessions with HR support
  • Attend meetings
  • Provide Administrative support for HR Department
  • Other duties as assigned


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Degree-seeking student currently enrolled at a college or university with a GPA of 3.0 or higher; preference is for juniors who will be rising seniors during their internship summer 
  • Preferred candidate will be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Human Resources, Business, or Organizational Development 
  • Computer literacy; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, critical thinker, leader, team player, and self-managed learner

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must collaborate well with others and have good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of standard office equipment. 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, outlook
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communications skills is preferred
