    ITility has an opening for an experienced National Counter-IED Capabilities Analysis Database Specialist to assist the DHS Office of Bombing Prevention assess C-IED units, and provide data analysis and updates to the National Counter IED Capability Analysis Database (NCAAD).

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

    • Determine current operational capabilities of Bomb Squads, Explosive detection canine teams, Dive teams, and Special Weapons and Tactics Teams (SWAT)
    • Identify specific personnel, planning, training and equipment gaps
    • Provide recommendations for capability enhancements

     

    Qualifications

    Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

    • Graduate of FBI Hazardous Device School, Huntsville, Alabama
    • 5-10 years of Bomb Squad and/or SWAT Experience
    • Eligible for DHS Suitability
    • Eligible for Secret Security Clearance
    • Familiar with Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP)
    • Excellent Verbal and Written Communications Skills

    • Ability to conduct detailed analysis of current capabilities and identify gaps in required readiness standards to counter IED threats.
    • Ability to brief and lead discussions with Senior Executives in high-risk jurisdictions on CIED Preparedness and capability gaps.
    • Ability to integrate emerging IED threats into current counter IED capabilities to provide recommendations for capability enhancements.
